For the manufacture of registration plate blanks we develop and supply efficient, ultramodern, highly robust production lines. We know exactly what constitutes consistently excellent quality.
What is involved in a production line? To put it simply: strip aluminium is fed into a straightening machine via a winder plate by means of a frequency converter. Next, a laminator applies a facing layer to the metal, and the system is heated in order to optimize further processing. The workpiece is then cut to size via an eccentric cam or a hydraulic press and embossed according to the customer’s specifications. An automatic camera-based quality check and a sorting and stacking unit are optional as additions to complete the production line.
The process is intricate and complex and requires a high degree of precision. DKT achieves production volumes of up 70 plates per minute - manufacturing top quality products by the million each year.
At the request of our customers, DKT can also offer hot-embossing machines capable of completing the embossing process and colouring the facing layer as required in a single step.
